Matching Program

MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies have programs in place whereby they match donations made by their employees to non-profit organizations such as the Lobo Club.  A company many times will match; double or even triple their employee’s gift (the charitable portion.)  Lobo Club donors receives credit for both their gift and the company’s match.
 
You will need to request a matching gift form from your company, fill in all pertinent information, sign where indicated and submit to the Lobo Club along with payment for your portion of the gift. In most cases, the form cannot be submitted to the company for the matching gift portion without the Lobo Club first receiving the donor’s portion of the gift. Check with your individual company for further information.
 
Additionally, companies will match only 80% of a donor’s gift if they receive benefits (i.e. parking, seating) as a part of their contribution. Contributors who receive parking/ticketing benefits based on a pledge which includes a matching gift will be held responsible for any matching gifts not fulfilled by their organization.
