About the Lobo Club

The Lobo Club is The Team Behind the Teams, the branch of The University of New Mexico Athletics Department responsible for raising funds for athletic scholarships. Lobo Club members, through their financial support, are investing in the futures of UNM student-athletes and the future of your New Mexico communities.

Lobo Club members have helped create a tradition of success at The University of New Mexico. Their contributions supply our student-athletes with the resources necessary for success both in the classroom and competition.

Help us continue to grow. Since 1991, donations to the Lobo Club have more than doubled and it is no coincidence that our student-athletes have enjoyed remarkable success both academically and athletically in that time period. Including the spring of 2007, UNM student-athletes have a collective 3.0 grade-point-average or better in an astounding ten consecutive semesters while reaching numerous athletic peaks, including the school's first ever National Championship (Skiing 2004), trips to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen (Women's Basketball 2003; Men's Soccer 2004), an appearance in the College Cup and National Championship Game in Men's Soccer (2005) and appearances in four Bowl games (Las Vegas 2002, 2003; Emerald 2004; New Mexico 2006) in the past five years alone.
