Lobo Club

Scholarship Lobo is a group of Lobo Club members – individuals and companies – who generously support student-athletes at the University of New Mexico by providing one full scholarship annually.

Scholarship Lobo is essential to the success of the Athletics Department in meeting the growing costs of scholarships for student-athletes at the University of New Mexico. Scholarship costs have nearly doubled in the past decade alone… and keep rising! This investment in our student-athletes is essential in building a stronger and more successful athletics program in all sports, men’s and women’s alike.

Today an athlete will make a big play for the Lobos. But tomorrow, that young man or lady will make a big difference in his or her business, family, and community.

When you make a commitment as a Scholarship Lobo, YOU make an important difference in the future of UNM Athletics one student-athlete at a time. And more importantly, you contribute to the future success of student-athletes at the University of New Mexico in a very real and personal way.

One of the greatest honors a U NM student-athlete can receive is to be awarded a scholarship sponsored fully by a Scholarship Lobo. These scholarships create an important bond between sponsors and students, and give students the opportunity to grow in many aspects of their lives- from academics and athletics to their life skills and social responsibility.
